Every business we work with tells us some version of the same story. The team is good at what they do. The business is growing. And somewhere along the way, the week filled up with busywork: invoices re-typed from emails, the same customer details entered into two systems, and a spreadsheet only one person really understands.
We know that story well, because it’s where we started.
Humble beginnings
HME Solutions began with our founder, Humera Iqbal, running a small business of her own. She needed the kind of tools big companies take for granted, and quickly found that enterprise software was priced and built for someone else. So she built her own.
That first build became ResumeMatch Pro, an AI platform that matches a job seeker’s resume to real job postings and helps them close the gaps. It launched in June 2026, built by one person.
Then something we didn’t plan for happened. Business owners who saw what she had built started asking: “Could you do something like this for us?” A healthcare platform needed its workforce scheduling system scoped and planned. A trucking permits company needed a better way to manage permits. HME Solutions grew out of those conversations.
The name is personal, too. HME comes from the initials of our founder and her daughters.

Where we are now
Today HME Solutions is a growing global team of engineers, prompt engineers and marketing specialists, with team members in Canada, India and Pakistan, and we’re still hiring. Our founder brings more than 15 years in quality assurance and tech leadership and is PMP-certified, which is why testing and careful project planning are built into everything we deliver.
Alongside ResumeMatch Pro, our work includes the website for the From Zakhm to Shifa podcast and an AI pipeline that helps research, script and produce its content across channels.
Where we’re going
We started at one desk, solving one problem. Today we do the same for other businesses, one process at a time, and we intend to keep it that way: close to the people we work with, honest about what AI can and can’t do, and focused on one thing: giving you your hours back.
